Privacy Policy
What this website collects, what it does not, and who else is involved when you use it.

The short version
This site is a static website. It has no server-side application, no database and no accounts, and it does not log your visits. There is no analytics software of any kind on it — no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or session-recording tools.
The only information you can give us through this website is an email address, and only if you choose to enter it into the newsletter form.
What we collect
One thing: the email address you type into the newsletter form, if you submit it. We do not ask for your name, and the form sends nothing else.
A hidden field is included in that form to catch automated submissions. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded and nothing is sent anywhere.
⚠️ The newsletter is not connected to a provider yet. Until it is, pressing Subscribe opens a pre-addressed email in your own mail app — this website itself stores and sends nothing, and nothing leaves your device unless you send that message. Once a provider is chosen, this section must name it and say where subscriber data is stored.
What we do not collect
We do not set cookies, we do not use local or session storage, and we do not build a profile of you. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share personal information, because we do not hold any beyond a newsletter address.
Fonts are served from this website rather than from a font network, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to a third party for that purpose.
Third parties
Video reviews on this site are shown as still images until you press play. Nothing from YouTube loads before that. When you do press play, an embedded player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com and YouTube receives your request and may set its own cookies — at that point YouTube's privacy policy applies as well as this one.
The poster images for those videos are served by i.ytimg.com, which is a Google domain, so loading a page that shows them results in a request to Google for the image.
Links to book a call, to WhatsApp, to client websites and to our Fiverr profile are ordinary outbound links. Following one takes you to that organisation's own site, under its own terms and privacy policy.
Contacting us about your data
If you want to know what we hold, have it corrected, or have it deleted, email info@techtrekweb.com and we will deal with it. In practice, for almost everyone, the answer will be that we hold nothing.
